The skin is usually crimson red with yellow speckles. The flesh can be bright yellow or deep red. These varieties are extremely juicy. Green plumeots are typically green with a red blush on the skin or they are completely pale yellow. The flesh may range from pink to pale yellow. They are very juicy with tropical melon overtones. Mottled plumcots have a light tan exterior with pink and purple speckles. The inside flesh can range from dark magenta to creamy white with pink blush. They are extremely sweet and juicy. Black plumcots have a dark exterior with brilliant flesh colours that range from magenta to pale yellow. They are the most plurm-like in taste but much sweeter than traditional plums.
