Slit each date along one long side. Gently spread them open, then pull out and discard pits. Create a boat for the filling. 2. Remove the skin from the dates. . In a medium bowl, mix cream and crushed nuts. 4. Fill a zip-top bag with the mixture and snip off a corner large enough for the mixture to pour through. Spreading the dates apart with your fingers, pipe the mixture into each one, filling them generously. 5. Coat the filled date with shredded coconut and/or nuts. 6.
